Now that the the pumpkin carving has passed and the turkey is digested, its time to trim the tree for my favorite time of the year, Christmas. I recently attended my town's Christmas parade and just as every parade , wedding or graduation I was teary eyed. There's this marvelous feeling that comes over me and I'm filled with joy; I smile incredulously when attending these events.
The bands marching and the players performing, showing their pride , their style and how they can perform with such grace. The clowns, the horses, children waving, all of it creating excitement! The Sharpeword here is joy. As the holidays come and go, lets remember the joy that they bring and let's keep it throughout the year. What a wonderful world it would be indeed.

Hi everyone
Just a thought. Nothing profound, nothing mind boggling; just a thought. A friend sent a text message to me this morning about the rapture. I'm told that this is a time revered in religion when all the people who have been sinful will be left on the earth for the introduction of the antichrist while all the righteous ones will disappear and go somewhere and miss the introduction .
Hmmm. Since this occurrence is scheduled for the latter days, and people are leaving the earth each and every day, does this mean that the rapture is approaching? Are we living it? Is the schedule for a distance future? Its enough to cause a mind to wonder. The Sharpeword is this: why do we concern ourselves with things confusing that would obviously be out of our control? Why do we stress over decisions that we did not broker? It seems the decision was made already, long long before many of us were born therefore, whoever does not disappear will play host to the antichrist. Is that it? Considering the state of turmoil all over the earth at any given moment in any given time zone how can we be certain that we have not met the antichrist? What do you think?
